How many attendees are you expecting?

 

We are currently anticipating 2000 attendees for Romance Con 2025.

How many authors will be attending?

 

We are currently anticipating between 200-250 authors for Romance Con 2025.

​

How many hours per day will we have to table?

 

The Romance Con signing hall will be open from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Do you offer a discount on hotel accommodations?

 

Yes, Romance Con offers hotel blocks for authors. These are limited and selling out quickly. Once they are full, we may not be able to add more. We encourage you to book as soon as possible, and if our blocks are unavailable, there are many other hotels in the area to explore. All attending authors should have received hotel block details via email, if you missed this information, please contact our author team at authors@romance-con.com.

How do you promote attending authors?

 

Authors will be featured on Romance Con’s website, emails, and social media accounts. Authors will receive a social media announcement post, and we would love to have these be collab posts! We also promote Romance Con panel and programming announcements on our social media. If you would like additional dedicated posts please reach out for additional information and add-on pricing.

Will you have an onsite bookstore?

 

Yes! We are partnering with Novel Concepts Collective to sell books at Romance Con 2025.

​

If we want to sell existing stock, can we ship it ahead of time to the venue? 

 

Yes! We are working with Novel Concepts Collective, our bookseller partner, to handle drayage (shipping) for the show, so we can connect you with them to get you all set up. Once accepted, please let us know if you are interested in being connected with our bookseller.

As a traditionally published author, will you have a way for my books to be pre ordered and sold onsite?

 

Our bookseller partner will set up pre-orders and onsite sales. Once accepted, you will receive a form to complete to get you set up with the bookstore. 

​

Will you have a drayage service available for indie authors? 

 

Yes, please email authors@romace-con.com to get additional information on shipping options with our onsite bookstore.

​What size table will we have provided in the signing room?

 

Tables will be at least 6 feet wide.

​

Do the tables come with any decor at all?

 

They do not. We highly encourage all authors to bring their own decor and have some fun with it!

​

Can I bring an assistant to help? If I need more than one, will I need to purchase an additional pass?

 

Yes, authors will receive one complimentary assistant pass to assist you in the signing rooms. Our team will reach out to attending authors in the weeks leading up to the event to collect assistant names. If you need additional support please let us know and we can arrange a discounted ticket for additional passes.

What day will I be able to set up?

 

You will be able to start setting up in the Signing Hall on Thursday, September 4, in the afternoon.

​

Will you be doing tickets for line management? 

 

Yes we will be using a numbered ticket system. Tickets can be claimed onsite starting Friday, and any numbers that have not been called on Friday will continue into Saturday’s signing session.

Can co author’s share a table? 

 

Absolutely! Just let us know when completing your Author Interest form that you would like to split a table.

​

How do I get involved in programming? 

In late spring, the Romance Con team will reach out to attending authors to gauge interest in participating in panels for Romance Con 2025. Authors will have the opportunity to share their ideas and the topics they’d be best suited for. Once this information is collected, the programming team will begin assembling the schedule. While we strive to include as many interested authors as possible, please note that participation is limited, and authors may appear on a maximum of two panels.

Will there be an author lounge? Will meals be provided?

 

Yes, there will be an author’s lounge. Meals will not be provided, but you are welcome to use the lounge during your mealtimes.
